baby hair clippers

Just like a good engine powers a car, a strong motor is vital to driving baby hair clippers.There are 3 basic types of clipper motors.
* The Magnetic Motor
Most cheap clipper models are powered by magnetic motors. These are simple in design and usually dependable.
They are made up of a spring and an electromagnet working together to thrust the blade back and forth. They run quietly and
provide high blade speeds as well as a smoother cut.
* The Rotary Motor
The rotary motor design powers the top range clippers in use today. they can work without cords is an added advantage.
Generally, clippers, featuring rotary motors, cost more and are used for dog and horse grooming.
They offer a wide variety of cuts as well as an even amount of power and blade speed.
* The Pivot Motor
The pivot and magnetic motors are similar in some respects, just that the former uses two electromagnets and no spring.
While the home hair clippers blade speed is low, pivot motor clippers produce at least twice the cutting power over magnetic motor clippers.
This makes cutting through thick, heavy and wet hair a breeze.
